StockLock Documentation

StockLock helps merchants sync shared SKU inventory across multiple Shopify stores. Review and approve SKU matches first, then keep stock counts aligned when inventory changes.

Who It Is For

StockLock is for merchants running multiple Shopify storefronts from one shared inventory pool, such as regional stores, retail plus wholesale stores, or multi-brand operators that share SKUs.

Setup

  1. Install StockLock from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Open StockLock in each Shopify store you want to connect.
  3. Review suggested SKU matches and approve only the pairs you want synced.
  4. Use the dashboard and sync log to confirm activity before relying on automation.
  5. Pause syncing from the app if you need to investigate mismatches.

Permissions and Data

StockLock reads product variant, SKU, inventory level, location, and webhook data needed to match SKUs and process inventory changes. It writes inventory adjustments only for approved mappings.

SKU Matching

StockLock suggests matches by SKU and requires merchant approval before syncing a pair. Manual review is the safety step that keeps unrelated products from being linked by accident.

Inventory Changes

When inventory changes in one connected store, StockLock records the event, calculates a relative adjustment, validates the destination SKU, and logs the result. The sync log shows what happened and why.

Billing

Launch pricing is $19/month with a 14-day trial for new installs.

Uninstall

Uninstall StockLock from Shopify Admin. StockLock stops processing new webhooks for that store and preserves records needed for audit and support unless removal is requested.
